From her first game as a freshman, Apolskis batted third and started at shortstop for the Lobos. Apolskis' individual statistics while playing for MPC are impressive! Over the past two seasons she hit .415 (55-132) for the 10th ranked team in Northern California according to RPI rankings. Apolskis recorded 13 doubles, five triples and two home runs over that time while scoring 33 runs and driving in 37 in 44 games over her two seasons at Monterey. She registered a slugging percentage of .636 over her career and hit safely in 33 of the 44 games she played at Monterey.
Head softball coach Rocco Constantino for the Bears is thrilled to have Faith joining the team. "She's a great student and a fine athlete who is a very hard worker. I also like the fact that she comes from a great winning program like Monterey. Faith is the exact type of player and student we have been looking for as we continue to build off another successful season."
