LIBR 50 Intro to Library and Research Skills

Satisfies the MPC Information Competency Graduation Requirement. This course is designed to teach and strengthen the information competency and research skills of college students.  The course provides students with the life-long learning skills needed to access, evaluate and utilize information resources, including full-text periodical databases, Internet resources, online catalogs, as well as materials traditionally located in the library.
