What to Consider When Applying to Credential Programs
Picking a credential program to complete the necessary coursework for you to earn your Preliminary Teaching credential is a big task. Some things to take into consideration when picking a credential program are:
- Do you want to attend virtual or in person classes?
- Are you interested in an intern or traditional/co-teaching pathway?
- Which credential are you pursuing?
- Are you interested in adding authorizations to your credential?
These questions might be overwhelming and might not make sense at the start of your journey towards picking a program to attend. One way to make sense of these questions and what you are seeking is to attend info sessions or contact a program coordinators.
