Educational Building Workshops for New Students!

Educational Building Workshops (or Schedule Building Workshops) provide new students with MPC or transfer education pattern information, introduces new terminology and assists with establishing a student schedule. At this workshop, new students develop an understanding of their Assessment results and how to recognize and plan for prerequisite and other courses that ultimately contribute to their success and educational goals. New students also learn how to register for courses and identify their registration date.

Educational Planning Workshops are held periodically throughout the semester and are offered on a first-come, first-served basis with limited seating.

We have an exciting new opportunity for students that are interested in attending Monterey Peninsula College. Our new Lobo Info Sessions are Zoom meetings where our Outreach Team representatives will share information on how to apply, register for classes, and other services available to interested students. This is an opportunity for students to ask questions about our campus and connect with a representative that will guide them through the matriculation process. We will provide additional information on services and benefits to attending MPC, and why you should consider it your future college.

Meetings will be recurring once a month, as detailed on the flyer. They are open for all prospective students, regardless of grade. The first is this Friday, March 12th at 12pm noon.
