San Jose State University SCILL Stem Cell Internship And Laboratory Based Learning (SCILL) Team is presenting their annual stem cell awareness event on May 11.  Kevin McCormack will be the keynote speaker, presenting "Progress in Stem Cell Research: Turning Promise into Reality." Kevin McCormack is a senior director in public communication at California Institute of Regenerative Medicine (CIRM) and a distinguished speaker advocating for stem cell therapies. The event is open to the public and is a great opportunity to learn more about stem cell research if this is an area of study you are interested in.
