This workshop is hosted by Northeastern University in Silicon Valley and is located in San Jose. It is conventiently on a Saturday, so you don't have to worry about missing class. Here is what you can expect from it:
- Be instructed through an intro to the basics of computing and programming
- Understand how computer science applies to work and everyday life
- Learn how to re-program an Amazon Dash button
- Participate an in a mini hack-a-thon where you can collaborate with others and test out your new computer programming skills
If you are interested in programming, this would be a great workshop to attend to see if it is a good fit for you. If you are already taking programming classes, this will be a great opportunity to stretch your coding skills and visit a college you may be interested in transferring to.
