Throughout the month, we’ll host a series of exciting events and  thought-provoking discussions that will celebrate the vibrant spirit and enduring influence of Hispanic heritage.

HSI STEM Research Symposium (Hispanic Heritage Month)

September 20 (Friday): 10am - 2pm (Monterey Campus: Sam Karas Room - MPC Library & Technology Center)

Palomitas with the Pack (Hispanic Heritage Month)

September 26 (Thursday): 10am - 12:00pm (Marina Campus: Lobo Hub)

Eat popcorn and watch the movie, "The Long Game."

HACU National Internship Information Event(Hispanic Heritage Month)

This is a once in a lifetime opportunity to gain hands-on work experience that will help you connect your classroom learning with practical knowledge in a professional work environment.


Transfer Talk: Pathway to Success (Hispanic Heritage Month)

October 3: 12:30pm - 1:30pm (Monterey Campus: Career Transfer Resource Center)

This event will educate students on the significance of transferring and how it can enhance their future career opportunities. It will spotlight various Hispanic-Serving Institutions (HSIs) that students can transfer to while also showcasing programs funded by HSI grants that support academic and career success.


Hispanic Heritage Celebration (Hispanic Heritage Month)

October 8: 11am - 2pm (Monterey Campus: Caroline Page Garden in front of the library)

Celebrate the diverse heritage and contributions of the Latinx community with a day of festivities for all to enjoy!
